Full job description

We are currently looking for a Breakfast/Daytime Cook to join our team at Tencreek Holiday Park on a part-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting breakfast and daytime food service, ensuring food is prepared and presented to a high standard. You will also assist the evening kitchen team with preparation duties to help ensure a smooth and efficient service later in the day.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food for breakfast and daytime service
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation
  • Support the evening team with food preparation as required
  • Help maintain high standards of cooking, presentation and service
  • Maintain portion control and reduce unnecessary waste
  • Assist with completion of food diaries, cleaning schedules, health and safety records and food hygiene documentation
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Prepare food items in a clean, safe and timely manner
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation at all times
  • Assist with cleaning and organisation of the kitchen, equipment and storage areas
  • Restock items as required throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all food hygiene, health and safety standards

A successful Person will have:

  • Previous experience working in a busy or high volume kitchen
  • A strong focus on customer service and food quality
  • A positive and reliable approach to work
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • A flexible attitude and willingness to support the wider kitchen team
  • The ability to use their own initiative and work proactively when working independently
