Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract
Occupational Therapist Pay Rate: £36 - £38 per hour (assignment rate)

Key Responsibilites of the Social Service Occupational Therapist:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' physical, cognitive, and environmental needs.
  • Collaborate with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop holistic care plans.
  • Design and implement tailored adaptations to enhance individuals' independence and safety within their homes and communities.
  • Provide expert advice on assistive devices, equipment, and modifications to support individuals in achieving their goals.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary services, ensuring a person-centered approach to care.

Requirements of the Social Services Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist
  • Recent experience within social services / local authority / council
  • Registered with the HCPC
