We are looking for an experienced, skilled and enthusiastic Holistic and Sports Massage Therapist to join our friendly and growing multidisciplinary clinic in Bristol.

Clifton Osteopathy & Health is a welcoming, patient-centred clinic bringing together osteopathy and complementary healthcare under one roof. Our aim is to create a collaborative environment where practitioners feel supported, enjoy their work and benefit from sharing knowledge and referring patients between disciplines.

Our established osteopaths have busy, thriving practices, with regular opportunities for onward referral to massage therapy. We're looking for someone who is keen to build their own patient list while becoming an active and valued member of our clinical team.

Who we're looking for

We would love to hear from someone who:

• Is looking to start with minimum 1 day per week (can be split in 2 half days/include evenings) and grow their client base to work more days over time.
• Has at least 3 years' professional experience in massage therapy.
• Is qualified and confident in a minimum of both Holistic and Sports Massage, with the ability to adapt their approach to suit each patient's individual needs.
• Has excellent palpation skills, a sensitive and intuitive touch, and a strong understanding of anatomy.
• Is willing to discuss with their client what they are looking for from a massage and advise on a treatment plan.
• Is warm, professional and genuinely passionate about helping people.
• Enjoys working collaboratively with other healthcare practitioners, including osteopaths and complementary therapists.
• Is enthusiastic about inter-referral, shared learning and contributing to a supportive clinic culture.
• Is motivated to develop a growing practice and build long-term patient relationships.
• Is looking for a regular clinic base rather than occasional ad hoc room use.
• Is interested in being an active member of a friendly, social and integrated team.

• Flexible, affordable room rental: A straightforward structure designed to support you while you establish your practice.
• Couch paper, pillows and grape seed massage oil provided.

Room rental arrangements

We are looking for someone who would ideally like to develop their practice across at least two half-day sessions per week, with motivation to increase their availability as their patient list grows. Evening availability is also possible.

Our standard half-day sessions are:

• Morning: 9:00am–1:00pm (4 hours)
• Afternoon: 2:00pm–5:00pm (3 hours)

Room rental is £18 per hour.

To help you settle in and build your patient list, we offer an introductory arrangement:

• First 4 months: Pay only for the hours you actually use for appointments within your agreed sessions. £20 per hour for this time period.
• After 4 months: Your agreed half-day blocks are charged in full, regardless of the number of appointments booked.
• Up to 6 weeks per year of rent-free absence: Agreed weeks away from the clinic without room rental charges, allowing flexibility for time away, professional development or other commitments.

This is a self-employed practitioner opportunity, not an employed position. You will retain responsibility for your own clinical practice, professional registration where applicable, insurance and tax arrangements.
