Full job description

We are looking for a Respiratory Practitioner to join our Respiratory Team. The Mid Essex Community Respiratory Team is an established integrated respiratory service providing comprehensive, community-based care for adults with chronic respiratory conditions. Our multidisciplinary team delivers a range of services, including spirometry, pulmonary rehabilitation, oxygen therapy, and a virtual ward model, to support patients at home and reduce avoidable hospital admissions.

The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team; providing community based holistic assessments and treating patients in community clinics and home visits. You will also be involved in the Virtual Respiratory ward and be given the opportunity to become ARTP accredited for spirometry and gain competencies to take and interpret blood gases.

Postholders will run respiratory clinics, carry out home visits, and benefit from regular clinical supervision, teaching, and weekly MDTs with specialist consultants.
