About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to maintain our high clinical standards in our physiotherapy clinic. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients and staff. You’ll play a key part in infection prevention and will help us uphold a professional standard that reflects the quality of care we deliver.
You’ll also be a valued member of the wider team—contributing to the overall patient experience and supporting our commitment to delivering the highest standards of care from the moment a patient walks through the door.
Key Responsibilities
- Routine cleaning of all clinical areas including therapy rooms, reception, gym space, toilets, kitchen, office, and general floor spaces
- Disinfection of surfaces, therapy plinths, handles, and high-touch areas
- Monthly deep clean of therapy equipment (including mobility aids and treatment tools)
- Safe handling of cleaning materials in accordance with COSHH guidance
- Accurate completion of cleaning checklists and logs
- Reporting of any maintenance or stock issues to the clinic team
What We’re Looking For
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining meticulous standards
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Good communication and a professional attitude
- Experience working in healthcare, clinical, or similar hygiene-sensitive settings
- Trustworthiness, reliability, and the ability to work independently
- Understanding of confidentiality and respect for patient environments
- Communicate clearly, warmly, and confidentially
- Work well independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Have a friendly, professional manner and a proactive mindset
- Handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity
