Overview
We provide therapeutic support services that are holistic and focused on delivering positive outcomes through social enterprise and star housing and support.
We combine equine therapy and work experience programmes to enable people to live independently. A Dual registration company supporting the transition of 16-18 years of age to adult supported living . Elevate Supported Living Services are seeking to employ a caring, motivated and experienced Ofsted R*egistered Manager - Therapeutic childrens Supported Living* with life experience and relevant care qualifications to join our expanding team in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
Elevate and Supported Living Services provides therapeutic, innovative and creative support for older children & adults that require support with mental health, complex needs and learning disabilities.
The shift pattern is full time 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The working hours are 8am – 4pm with on-call duties.
The salary for this role is between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
Job Details
As an Ofsted Registered Manager you will lead in registering the service with Ofsted and support the mangers of the service in the development and management of the 16 -18+ services, as required in line with Ofsted & CQC standards. You will lead, oversee and assist the service managers in implementing the company’s vision, including the systems, staffing, policies and procedures that enable structure and high standards to be delivered.
The Registered Manager will provide management of the service, including allocation of duties and responsibilities, staff deployment and day to day supervision and oversight of the service, specifically to mangers and team leaders as required.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering KPI in line with the action plans, business plan, implement KPI for each team member and support the manager to monitor and evaluate the progress of KPI.
This is not a complete statement of all duties and responsibilities of this post.
About You
You will have previous management experience in a Ofsted role and knowledge of relevant Children & Adult Social Care Legislation, Government Guidance and Best Practice and Working Knowledge of children & Adult Protection Policies and Procedures.
You will have comprehensive understanding of adult supported living and the development, independence, preparation and floating support models of business, understanding strategies for managing Challenging Behaviour and have the ability to understand equality issues and have knowledge and consideration of meeting the diverse needs of the staff team and vulnerable adults.
You should have the ability to continually aim at improving the staff teams’ performance to provide Best Value Services and to develop effective team performance, make informed decisions and offer a clear lead, including pre-planning and impartation and monitoring of those plans, as well as having experience of handling conflict and managing sensitive issues to achieve positive outcomes.
