JOIN AN EXCEPTIONAL CHARITY WITH A UNIQUE SETUP

Dame Hannahs is a care charity that aims to provide a person centred and holistic approach to empower and enrich the lives of adults with disabilities.

Dame Hannahs is a unique place to work and has the benefit of a distinctive setup. The successful candidate will be part of a management team that includes two other registered managers, a clinical lead, an operations manager and four deputy managers. We are also lucky to have dedicated nursing and therapies teams on site, striving for a gold standard in what we do.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Nurse Qualified Registered Manager to effectively lead one of the two registrations on our main site in Ivybridge, Devon. It is a 14-bed unit with a 1-to-1 daytime care model with nursing oversight.

Your focus will be to ensure the effective leadership and management of our regulated service, and you will be responsible for all areas of quality assurance, regulatory and statutory compliance, as defined by CQC.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS NEEDED

We are looking for an experienced professional with a person centred care approach, who has the ability to communicate effectively and accurately – both in written and digital form, as well as verbally. You will be adept at using digital systems and be familiar with all Microsoft packages including Excel.

You will have outstanding leadership and management skills, enabling you to support and mentor your teams effectively, ensuring that all care and support delivered across our service is in line with regulations, best practice, and Trust policies and procedures.

You will be nurse qualified and hold a relevant Diploma level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management or equivalent, or be willing to work towards one in your new role.

It is essential you have a proven track record of recently working in a regulatory CQC care setting with a rating of Good (or better) for a minimum of 3 years.

HOURS OF WORK

Permanent & Full time (Monday to Friday) with the ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the business as required.
