Housekeeper

£12.71 p/h - 10.5 hours per week

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11:00 - 14:30

We are looking to recruit a Housekeeper to join our existing team of 6. This is a temporary position covering long term sick.

The role: You will be a key member of the Housekeeping team, undertaking general housekeeping duties, including some direct patient contact, to help provide a quality service.

Requirements:

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Good team worker with a can-do approach to tasks
• Good interpersonal skills
• A flexible approach to duties (and hours for holiday cover)
• A full driving licence is essential and must be able to drive to our Melton surgery should cover be required there

To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as role models to others in all aspects of their work and conduct.

Housekeeping experience is an advantage although training will be provided.

You will be required to attend annual mandatory training sessions for infection control and some other ad hoc practice training events.
