Full job description

Remote (UK-Based) | 25 Hours Per Week | £25,000 FTE + Commission | £40,000–£45,000 OTE

Recruitment managed by Sales Chief on behalf of Thrive Health & Wellness Business Coaching

Thrive is introducing a dedicated Appointment Setter to take ownership of lead engagement across its growing audience.

With strong inbound activity through books, events, and masterclasses, the focus of this role is to actively engage that audience, drive attendance to key events, and guide the right people towards booking conversations.

This is a consultative, value-led role. It is not about aggressive or high-pressure selling. Instead, the focus is on having genuine conversations, understanding where people are at, and helping them take the next logical step.

You will be speaking to people who have already shown interest, not cold prospects.

What You’ll Get

  • £25,000 FTE basic salary
  • Commission structure tied to performance
  • £40,000–£45,000 OTE
  • 25-hour part-time role with flexibility
  • Strong inbound lead flow and existing database
  • Clear structure, training, and ongoing support
  • Opportunity to play a key role in a growing, purpose-driven business

Your Day-to-Day

  • Call and engage inbound leads from books, events, masterclasses, website enquiries, referrals, and social media
  • Drive attendance to upcoming masterclasses, workshops, and live events
  • Follow up with prospects via phone, WhatsApp, and other channels
  • Re-engage existing leads, dormant contacts, and previous enquiries from the database
  • Conduct targeted outreach to clinics, studios, and relevant prospects using value-led entry points such as books, workshops, and events
  • Have structured, consultative conversations to understand where prospects are at and guide them towards the right next step
  • Encourage and guide prospects towards booking Clinic Growth Calls (CGCs) / Strategy Calls
  • Work closely with the Head of Client Experience and closer to ensure smooth handovers and alignment on lead quality
  • Attend live events, workshops, and exhibitions where required
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and track pipeline movement, engagement, and conversions

This is a high-activity role where consistency, communication, and follow-through are critical.

Performance Expectations

  • Maintain consistent daily outreach (calls, messages, follow-ups)
  • Take ownership of lead engagement, database activation, and pipeline movement
  • Drive increased event attendance and booked calls
  • Ensure opportunities are actively progressed and not left idle
  • Deliver strong output within agreed working hours
  • Operate within a structured framework with clear KPIs and accountability

KPIs will be clearly defined and supported during onboarding, coaching, training, and ongoing performance management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • 24 Qualified Clinic Growth Calls (CGCs) booked per month (6 per week)
  • 85% CGC attendance rate
  • 25%–30% lead-to-booking conversion rate
  • Consistent outbound and re-engagement activity across the database
  • Masterclass registration and attendance targets achieved
  • Strong CRM hygiene and pipeline visibility maintained

The Ideal Candidate

  • 1–3 years’ experience in sales, lead generation, appointment setting, or client engagement
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking to people daily
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Able to ask good questions and guide conversations naturally
  • Confident speaking with prospects both over the phone and in person
  • Proactive and able to generate momentum, not wait for it
  • Organised, accountable, and commercially aware
  • Comfortable operating in a high-activity, target-driven environment
  • Aligned with a consultative, value-led approach

This Role May Not Suit

  • Candidates looking for a pure closing role
  • Those uncomfortable with outbound calling and follow-up
  • Individuals who rely purely on inbound enquiries
  • People looking for a low-activity or passive part-time role
  • High-pressure, “churn and burn” sales profiles

Why This Role Works

  • Large, warm audience already in place
  • Clear gap to solve with immediate commercial impact
  • Direct influence on event success and sales pipeline
  • Strong link between activity and earning potential
  • Opportunity to play a visible role in a growing business
  • Support, training, and structure provided from day one

The Approach

This role is not about pushing or pressuring people into decisions.

It’s about:

  • Speaking to people who have already shown interest
  • Understanding their situation
  • Helping them take the next step at the right time

Done properly, it should feel natural, helpful, and aligned with the brand, while still driving clear commercial outcomes.

Expenses & Travel

This role includes attendance at live events, exhibitions, and workshops as part of lead generation and conversion activity.

Reasonable travel and accommodation expenses will be covered in line with company policy.

Final Note

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking to people, building relationships, and creating momentum within a business, while operating in a structured, results-focused environment.
