If you enjoy being out and about, meeting and helping people and are committed to delivering a great patient experience, please get in touch.
You will be responsible for transporting patients to and from hospital appointments and ensuring they are safe and well cared for. You will be driving ambulances so a driving licence is essential with no more than 6 points. It would be great if you have some experience of working in a caring environment but this is not essential as full accredited training will be given. You will need a clear enhanced DBS.
As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you must be committed to the highest level of patient care, a careful, considerate driver, with strong communications skills and an understanding of patient needs and abilities.
HATS is a great place to develop your skills and career.
Duties
Collecting patients and ensuring that the home environment is adequately secured after the departure of the patient and upon their return
Administering basic first aid and oxygen as required during the course of work

Be able to assist patients in walking, pushing them in a wheelchair and lifting them in and out of a vehicle/home
Report accidents or incidents
Ensure the vehicle and associated equipment is in a safe and clean condition at all times, reporting any defects to the appropriate manager
We will provide comprehensive training for the successful candidates.
If you have the right experience to make a success of this role, then please apply.
