Christmas Stock Merchandiser x2 - Wychbold

We have a fantastic opportunity for 2 Merchandisers to join our Seasonal team at our Wychbold garden centre.

The Christmas Merchandisers are responsible for creating attractive seasonal displays, stocking festive merchandise, maintaining product availability, and delivering excellent customer service during the busy holiday period. The role helps maximize sales by ensuring Christmas products are presented effectively and stores remain well-organised and visually appealing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Set up and maintain Christmas-themed displays and promotional areas.
  • Replenish seasonal stock and ensure shelves are fully stocked and tidy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to management.
  • Assist customers with product enquiries and recommendations.
  • Ensure pricing, signage, and promotional materials are accurate and visible.
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
  • Support seasonal sales campaigns and special events.
  • Follow health and safety procedures when handling stock and displays.
  • Work collaboratively with team members during peak trading periods.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Basic numeracy and stock-handling skills.
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise safely.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.
  • Previous retail or merchandising experience is advantageous but not essential.

This is 37.5 hours, fixed-term role commencing on 3rd August 2026 and ending 3rd January 2027.

The role is based at our store in Wychbold and so you must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
