Are you a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner looking for a supportive nursery where you can build meaningful relationships with children and be part of a caring, professional team?

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Term time only may be considered for th right candidate.
Working pattern: 3 or 4 day working week available
Hours:

• 7:30am – 5:30pm
• 8:00am – 6:00pm

Nature’s Little Learners is looking for passionate Nursery Practitioners to join our warm, curiosity-inspired nursery in Hornbeam Park, Harrogate.

We welcome applications from both Level 2 and Level 3 qualified practitioners, including newly qualified Level 3 practitioners who are eager to develop their practice.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support the learning, care and development of children aged birth to five yearsin line with the EYFS framework.

You will:

• Provide warm, nurturing care that supports children’s emotional wellbeing
• Build strong attachments as a key person and develop positive relationships with families
• Support children’s communication, physical development, independence and PSED
• Plan and deliver engaging play-based learning experiences
• Observe and assess children’s development and identify next steps
• Use the Famly app to record learning and share updates with parents
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and learning

Safeguarding & Professional Practice

All staff are expected to follow safeguarding procedures and help maintain a safe, inclusive and inspiring learning environment.

This role is subject to:

• Enhanced DBS check
• Satisfactory references
• Qualification and identity checks
• Online search as part of safer recruitment

RequirementsEssential

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification recognised by the DfE
• Experience working with babies or young children
• Understanding of the EYFS framework
• A warm, patient and nurturing approach to working with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable

• Paediatric First Aid
• Experience using Famly or a similar learning journal system
• Previous key person experience

Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
