Above + Beyond are seeking a confident, persistent and motivated individual to join their fast growing, exciting and passionate team in their modern and lively office next to London Stansted Airport! As a Sales Manager with a year 1 OTE of £65,000, you will be expected to manage and monitor a fast growing telesales team whilst continuing to bill business for the company yourself. You will also be involved in the day to day management of lead generation, recruiting, training and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the telesales team with day to day mentoring and team support.
  • Delivering meetings with sales executives in line with weekly and monthly sales targets.
  • Utilising the companies CRM system for proper pipeline management of the sales team and yourself.
  • Identifying training and skill gaps within the team in order to improve performance for new sales executives and assisting existing employees in order to hit targets.
  • Inputting in the annual sales forecasting and setting realistic targets for each member of the sales team.
  • Implement sales strategies
  • Monitoring performance and request weekly and monthly meetings
  • Writing sales scripts and customer answer sheets
  • Compile and present sales reports
  • Handling escalated customer complaints
  • Maintaining customer relationships
  • Managing lead generation exploring new resources.
  • Continuing to bill business and gain new clients.
  • Understanding sales cycles. In particular, short phone based, telesales cycles.
  • Penetrating new markets and sectors.
  • Ability to close deals with the decision makers (owners, directors, CEOs etc).
  • Assisting with recruitment in finding the best sales executives to join Above + Beyond.

Qualifications and experience

  • Senior experience as sales manager with experience in a telesales environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business management or a similar field is preferred.
  • Worked within the corporate hospitality, sports and entertainment industry, within a fast paced sales environment.
  • Ability to understand short sales cycles in a fast paced and high energy environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Ability to write and present sales reports.
  • Experience in lead generation.
  • An extremely strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills and telephone manner, able to reach high call volumes with focus and efficiency, whilst managing a team.
  • Extensive experience in sales management within the corporate hospitality industry or similar.
  • Ability to work autonomously with a high level of self drive and motivation in order to pitch clients continuously throughout the day.
  • Thrives in a fast paced, high energy environment.
  • Attention to detail to ensure all questions from clients can be answered without hesitation and client details collated correctly.
  • Enjoying attending sporting and entertainment events to host a great experience to clients.
