We're looking for a Catering Assistant who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.

Contract: Fixed Term Contract
Type of Employment: Full Time
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £27,010.07 per annum
Location: King George Hospital, Barley Lane, Ilford , Greater London, England, IG3 8YB

Role Responsibilities:


  • Preparing and serving high-quality coffee, hot beverages, and light snacks to a consistently high standard.
  • Maintaining food safety and allergen awareness at all times, ensuring compliance with Mite and NHS.
  • Managing stock levels for coffee, milk, and related supplies, and keeping service areas replenished.
  • Operating tills and handling cash accurately, where required.
  • Ensuring all equipment, workstations, and service areas are clean, tidy, and safe up to health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and colleagues to deliver excellent service.


What we're looking for:


  • Previous Barista experience with the ability to work under pressure and unsupervised, where required.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and allergen procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional and approachable manner.
  • A strong team player who also works confidently on their own initiative.
  • Adaptability, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
