Surgical First Assistant

Up to £51000pa & Benefits

London

This is a superb prospect to join one of Britain's leading providers of independent healthcare. Being part of a larger group offers great career progression as well as opportunities across the UK.

Located in London, The Hospital also has fantastic transport links. Applications are welcome from either Nurses or ODPs.

Duties and responsibilities:

To be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team, taking on the role of Surgical First Assistant. You will provide continuous competent and dedicated assistance under the direct supervision of the operating surgeon throughout the procedure and be responsible for the management of the equipment, instrumentation, and standards within the designated specialty and the role.

To act as a scrub nurse when SFA role if not required.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Registered Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner
  • Surgical First Assistant course
  • Mentorship Qualification
