Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hospital environments to utilise their skills in a professional setting. The position is paid and suitable for those who take pride in delivering high-quality cleaning services.

Responsibilities

• Changing bedroom and chalet guest accommodation with an attention to detail and cleanliness
• Perform thorough cleaning of all publicly accessible areas, including foyers, corridors, restrooms, and communal spaces
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure surfaces are hygienic and presentable
• Follow established cleaning protocols to meet health and safety standards
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
• Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are adhered to
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
• Maintain a high level of organisation within storage areas and cleaning carts

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable but full training for our unique environment will be given
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good time management skills to complete tasks within allocated periods
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Excellent communication skills to follow instructions accurately and report issues effectively

Pay: £13.45-£14.00 per hour
