Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant & Event Manager to oversee daily operations and organise exceptional events at our venue. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding guest services, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth execution of both restaurant and event functions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a vibrant team while creating memorable experiences for our guests. The position is paid and ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality, organisation, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Coordinate and oversee events, including planning, setup, execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Implement upselling strategies to maximise revenue opportunities across food, beverages, and event packages.
  • Maintain effective time management to ensure all aspects of restaurant and event schedules are adhered to efficiently.
  • Organise staff rotas, training sessions, and resource allocation to optimise operational productivity.
  • Foster excellent guest services by addressing customer needs promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Monitor financial performance through budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and organisational policies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or hotel hospitality roles.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, guests, and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to enhance revenue streams.
  • Experience in fundraising or organising community events is advantageous.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the capacity to lead a team efficiently under pressure.
