Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeping Assistant to join our friendly team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are kept clean, comfortable, and presented to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellent service will help create a welcoming environment for every guest.

Whether you have previous hotel housekeeping experience or are looking to build a career in hospitality, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and service guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standards.
  • Change bed linen, make beds, and replenish towels and guest amenities.
  • Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitise all assigned areas.
  • Ensure rooms are fully prepared and inspected before guest arrivals.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost property promptly.
  • Restock housekeeping trolleys and maintain adequate cleaning supplies.
  • Follow all health, safety, and infection control procedures.
  • Handle guest requests professionally and courteously when required.
  • Work efficiently to meet daily room cleaning targets while maintaining excellent quality.
  • Support the housekeeping team with deep cleaning and other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar cleaning role is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Friendly, reliable, and professional attitude.
  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual cleaning duties.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and shifts as required.
  • Right to work in the UK.
