Why Sing Social exists:

Forget everything you know about choirs. At Sing Social, we don't care if our members can't carry a tune or have never sung in public before. We're not here to perform; we're here to feel good. Think more group karaoke vibes than a traditional singing club!

No Auditions. No Solos. No Judgement:

We're a weekly, high-energy singalong, designed to be the highlight of your week. We swap complex harmonies and dreary sheet music, for great songs, legendary atmosphere and a room full of people who just want to have a good time.

Our weekly meet-ups bring people out of their homes, off their phones and into a warm, inclusive community built around a shared passion for great music - and this is just the beginning.

We're now launching a new Sing Social location locally and we're looking for the right person to lead the group and help bring it to life.

Who we're looking for:

We're not looking for professional singers. We’re looking for an incredible people-person who can bring the energy to a room.

You'll be someone who is:

• Massively outgoing, bubbly and confident
• Comfortable standing in front of a group and getting everyone involved
• Brilliant at making people feel welcome, relaxed and included
• Passionate about singing, music or performing in any form
• Comfortable with technology
• Over 18 with a full UK driving licence, or the ability to get to/from the venue each week with substantial equipment

You might have a background in:

• Music or singing
• Drama or performing arts
• Teaching or leading any type of classes
• Theatre, choir, bands, open mics, or just a lifelong love of singing
• Any other kind of group leadership

Passion always trumps vocal range and you don't need to read music, nor play an instrument to be one of our hosts. If you love music and love people, you'll fit right in.

What you'll be doing:

As a Sing Social Host, you'll:

• Host weekly, 90-minute, high-energy singalongs
• Lead a group of more than 50+ singers
• Create a fun, relaxed, judgement-free atmosphere where everyone belongs
• Keep in touch with your group via our online channels in between singing sessions
• Create opportunities for your members to meet-up and socialise outside of just the sessions.
• Get everyone involved in the community, regardless of confidence or experience
• Be the friendly, welcoming face of Sing Social in your local area
• Help shape the vibe, culture and experience as Sing Social grows

We're looking for people who take real pride in what they do and bring a genuine curiosity to it. Our experienced team will bring new ideas to the table and our hosts are the ones who bring them to life, share what they learn and help us make every Sing Social better than the last.

What's on offer:

• £75 per week (£25 per hour)
• 3 hours per week
• Evening sessions on a week night of your choosing (Monday to Thursday)
• Freelance contract role
• Full support provided
• The chance to be part of something genuinely special from the very early days
