The Alchemist Bar & Restaurant

We’re looking for energetic, outgoing, and hardworking Hosts to join The Alchemist – a creative cocktail bar and restaurant where atmosphere, personality, and guest experience are everything.

Hosts play a hugely important role within the team. Hosts are the first and last impression, setting the tone for the entire guest experience. They create genuine, hospitable, and memorable experiences from first touchpoint to goodbye. They manage booking flow, anticipate guest needs, communicate with all departments, and ensure lasting impressions.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves being around people, and brings positivity and personality into every shift.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Welcoming guests and delivering exceptional first impressions
  • Managing bookings, walk-ins, and waitlists efficiently during busy periods
  • Communicating effectively with restaurant and bar teams to support smooth service
  • Supporting guest experience throughout the venue with confidence and professionalism
  • Maintaining high venue standards and ensuring the host area remains organised and presentable
