Our bustling South Ridge Café is on the hunt for fun, enthusiastic Café Assistants/Baristas to keep our customers fuelled and smiling. This is your chance to be right at the heart of the action at the UK’s biggest Clip ‘n Climb Centre in Crawley, West Sussex!

What You’ll Do

• Serve & Smile: Take orders at the counter or through table service, using our EPOS system to keep customers (and tills) happy.
• Craft Tasty Treats: Whether you’re front of house or helping in the kitchen, you’ll prepare and plate a variety of menu items following our guidelines (we’ll train you up, don’t worry!).
• Brew Like a Pro: Love coffee? Learn to create our full range of hot drinks - barista training included.
• Keep It Safe: Follow our risk assessments and operating procedures to ensure a safe, clean, and compliant environment.
• Go the Extra Mile: Chat with customers, answer their questions, and make sure every visit is memorable.
• Team Up: Work closely with your team-mates to handle all operational duties throughout your shift.
• Event Support: Pitch in for special events and promotional activities - we love celebrating our community!
• Learn & Grow: Stay sharp by attending ongoing training and development sessions.
• Jump In Where Needed: Help clear tables, tidy up, and take on Kitchen Porter duties when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Communication Champ: You’re great at chatting with people from all walks of life.
• Service Superstar: Friendly, approachable, and ready to deliver top-notch customer service.
• Organised & Efficient: Able to juggle tasks while staying calm under pressure.
• Self-Starter: Use your initiative and tackle challenges without constant supervision.
• Flexible & Adaptable: Happy to lend a hand anywhere in the centre if needed. You also need to be a real team player.
• Eye for Detail: Accurate order-taking and a keen eye for presentation and cleanliness.
• Experience Welcome: Previous café or barista experience is a bonus, but we’ll train the right person.
• Must be aged 16+ and a school leaver.

Hours & Availability

We offer fully flexible contracts, but weekend and school holiday availability is key - those are our busiest times when everyone else is looking for fun!

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
