Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting with food and drink service, and supporting the overall operation of our hospitality venue. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality industry, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience.

Duties

  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation as required
  • Take orders accurately and handle transactions using the POS system
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, counters, and service stations
  • Support catering functions and special events as needed
  • Replenish stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies throughout shifts
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest queries and ensuring satisfaction
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods

Requirements

  • Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
  • Experience in food preparation or working in a restaurant environment is a plus
  • Barista experience or familiarity with coffee making is beneficial
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
  • Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings if required
  • A positive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
