Housekeeping Supervisor - Cragwood Country House Hotel

**Live-Out**

35 Hours Per Week (in the building for 37.5 with 30 mins unpaid break per day).

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Cragwood Country House Hotel for a House keeping Supervisor to join our award-winning team. The Housekeeping Supervisor has an important role to play in the service of cleanliness of our Hotel. We are looking for applicants who are interested in working with our warm team who have a great eye for detail. The role will be working with the Head Housekeeper to ensure our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the hotel, as well as working as part of the housekeeping team.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning of Hotel’s public areas
  • Distributing jobs to staff in the absence of the housekeeping manager
  • Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is achieved throughout the hotel
  • Ensuring that any rubbish is discarded properly and in accordance with the Hotel’s Recycling Policy.
  • Making of beds and room cleaning in preparation for our hotel guests
  • Some movement of light furniture required, for example small chest of drawers
  • Reporting any maintenance problems to the Hotel Manager
  • Ensuring that keys when not in use are returned to the secure location in which they are kept
  • Maintaining good timekeeping
  • Complying with Health & Safety legislation to ensure a safe working environment for all
  • Complying with hygiene and environmental requirements
  • Complying with the safe use of electrical equipment, chemicals and solvents (COSHH requirements)
  • Replenishing linens
  • Fill and replenish toilet tissue, soaps etc. to the required standards.
