Full job description

We are seeking an inspiring and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead our award-winning Food & Beverage operation, delivering exceptional guest experiences across The Terrace Restaurant & Bar, Monty's, and our events business. Working in close partnership with the Executive Head Chef, you will help drive the future direction of our food and beverage offering, combining operational excellence, innovation, and team development to create memorable experiences for every guest.

The role is full time, with a rota operating on 5 out of 7 days per week. Transport is an advantage to reach the picturesque village of Beaulieu and it is a good base to explore the South Coast. The hotel is situated 6 miles from Brockenhurst Village and train station with excellent rail links to Bournemouth, Southampton and London. The New Forest is a lovely setting with ponies, deer and other animals roaming throughout the Forest and its villages, and beautiful surroundings

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships with culinary teams and collaborate effectively with an Executive Head Chef.
  • A passion for food, drink, and hospitality trends, with the ability to translate ideas into exceptional guest experiences.
  • Experience developing and delivering innovative dining concepts, events, and seasonal offerings that drive guest satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between kitchen operations, service standards, and commercial performance.

The Montagu Arms Hotel is located in the beautiful village of Beaulieu, surrounded by the glorious scenery of the New Forest. The Terrace Restaurant offers guests fine dining cuisine with a seasonal menu inspired and driven by the superb natural larder of the New Forest, and includes spectacular produce straight from the restaurant’s organic kitchen garden. Monty’s Inn adjoins the hotel and offers a relaxed, warm atmosphere to enjoy high quality, gastro pub cuisine and beverages.
