GENERAL MANAGER

Tyglyn Hotel – Ciliau Aeron, Ceredigion

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and hands-on General Manager to lead the team at Tyglyn Hotel, a well-established country hotel located in the heart of the beautiful Aeron Valley.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving business performance and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all hotel operations including accommodation, food & beverage, events and customer service
  • Lead, motivate and manage staff across all departments
  • Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • Manage budgets, stock control and financial performance
  • Develop and implement marketing and business growth strategies
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and licensing regulations
  • Build strong relationships within the local community and tourism sector

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience in hotel or hospitality management
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to drive revenue and profitability
  • A proactive, flexible and hands-on approach
  • Experience managing weddings, events or functions would be advantageous
