The Yard in Bath is a 15 bedroom boutique hotel, bar and coffee spot in the centre of Bath, recently awarded One Key by The Michelin Guide for the third year in a row. We are looking for a diligent and meticulous individual to join our housekeeping team. This roles start date is from the beginning of October.

The hotel is looking for 1 full time candidate, 20 hours per week

Shifts are 4 hours per day (10am - 2pm).

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Making beds
  • Daily cleaning of guest bedrooms and bathrooms in line with housekeeping standards
  • Refreshing rooms and replenishing in-room amenities
  • Weekly and monthly deep cleaning jobs (done on a rotational basis)
  • Packing away laundry and maintaining the tidiness of the laundry store room
  • Cleaning of public spaces
  • End of day jobs
  • Washing up in the kitchen

We are proud to receive continuously good feedback from our guests on our standards of cleanliness so it is important that you have good attention to detail, are thorough in your work and ultimately enjoy cleaning! Our housekeeping team enjoy going to extra mile to ensure that our rooms are immaculate. We have strict guidelines setting out housekeeping standards and full training will be provided during the induction period.

Candidates must be over 16. Previous cleaning / housekeeping experience is essential. No visa sponsorship available.
