Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly & professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality / events team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is essential. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry. Applicants must be aged 18 or over to comply with licensing regulations for alcohol service

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and take their orders with attentiveness and professionalism
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
  • Manage cash register operations, process payments accurately
  • Provide information about menu items and recommend drinks based on guest preferences
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed to create a safe environment for both staff and guests
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless service during busy periods

Experience

  • Previous bar experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills to engage positively with guests and team members
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a lively atmosphere
