We are delighted to be recruiting passionate and talented individuals to join our Cornwall-born seafood specialist, Tom Brown, at our One Michelin Star restaurant. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work within an exceptional kitchen and front-of-house team, delivering refined, seafood-led cuisine at the very highest level.

The Role

As a Food and Beverage Team Member, you will be a key ambassador for our restaurant and hotel, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and an unforgettable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests on arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
  • Present menus, take orders, and serve food and beverages with precision and attention to detail.
  • Respond to guest enquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the front-of-house and dining areas.
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure accurate and timely service.
  • Support private dining and special events to ensure seamless execution.

About You

  • Previous experience in a Michelin-starred or equivalent high-end restaurant or hotel is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic wine knowledge and confidence discussing pairings with guests.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.

The Salary

  • Basic rate of £12.98 per hour, plus tronc. Estimated a combined total of £15 to £16 per hour.
