STRATEGIC ACCOUNT MANAGER, US Market (UK-based managing US market accounts)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Remote (UK-based) with a monthly team day near Bristol

Hours: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM UK Time (To align with US Eastern/Central markets)

Comp Package: Up to £90,000 OTE (Competitive Base + Uncapped Commission) + Excellent Benefits

The Opportunity

Are you a commercially-minded SaaS professional looking for global impact without the corporate bureaucracy?

Market Dojo is a dynamic, rapidly growing e-procurement platform. Recently acquired by global tech firm Esker, we offer the agility and excitement of an entrepreneurial scale-up, backed by the financial powerhouse and international resources of a global entity.

As our Strategic Account Manager, US Market, you will take ownership of our fastest-growing market. You’ll champion relationships with global hotel chains, household brands, and mid-market enterprises across North America, helping their procurement teams navigate a turbulent global economy.

Your Purpose and Impact

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will drive our US account management playbook. This is a hybrid, high-impact role blending consultative solution selling with proactive customer success. Your success will be measured by:

  • Net Revenue Retention (NRR): Securing annual renewals and expanding ARR through strategic cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Customer Health: Driving high Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
  • Advocacy: Cultivating a loyal base of referenceable clients to support case studies and industry events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consultative Growth: Deeply understand your clients' business objectives to align them with our expanding product suite via bespoke web demos.
  • Relationship Multi-threading: Build deep relationships across multiple layers of seniority within accounts to mitigate churn risks.
  • Commercial Agility: Actively network within your portfolio to generate referral leads, ensuring your pipeline remains resilient.
  • Global Collaboration: Support marketing campaigns (webinars, podcasts) and occasionally assist at international trade shows.
  • CRM Excellence: Maintain data integrity by comprehensively logging activities in our CRM.

About You

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, outcome focussed individual who thrives in an autonomous environment. Ideally, you bring:

  • Experience: 3+ years of strategic account management or customer success experience, ideally within the SaaS space.
  • Track Record: A proven history of exceeding revenue targets and managing commercial renewals.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
  • Mindset: An entrepreneurial "can-do" attitude—resilient, structured, and strategic.
  • Logistics: Right to work in the UK, a valid driving licence, and access to a vehicle (required for our monthly team days at our rural office just north of Bristol).

Progression & Benefits

We are a lean team with massive global ambitions. We believe in promoting from within, and your career path can scale exponentially as we expand.

Future trajectories include moving into Enterprise-focused, high-tier account management.

What’s in it for you?

  • Financial Reward: Up to £90k OTE with a transparent commission structure.
  • Health & Wellness: Private medical insurance and your birthday off.
  • Work-Life Balance: Fully flexible remote working, balanced with vibrant team away-days.
  • Perks: Quarterly spend vouchers of your choice, mobile phone allowance, and a dedicated personal training budget.
  • Culture: Direct access to leadership, an agile and transparent environment, and a team that genuinely likes to have fun (check out our 5★ Glassdoor and Capterra reviews!).

To Apply

If you are ready to own the US market from the UK, we want to hear from you.

Our interview process is swift and transparent: a brief initial online screening, followed by an in-depth interview (online or in-person) where you will meet various members of our leadership team.

Apply today to kickstart the conversation!

Pay: Up to £90,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Company events
  • Company pension
  • Employee discount
  • Free parking
  • On-site parking
  • Private medical insurance
  • Work from home

Application question(s):

  • Do you now, or will you in the future, require sponsorship to work in the UK?
  • Do you have a minimum of 3 years' experience of strategic account management or customer success?
  • Do you have a proven record of exceeding revenue targets and managing commercial renewals?
  • Do you have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle to attend monthly team days at our offices in Stonehouse, Stroud?
  • Are you able to work from 12.00pm to 8.00pm UK time to align with US and Eastern/Central markets?
  • Have you got 3+ years' experience of working in the SaaS space?
