Duties and responsibilities related to the Barista role

• Prepare the bar for service by completing all opening duties, ensuring readiness for a smooth and efficient operation.

• Maintain strong knowledge of all beverages, including ingredients and preparation methods, to confidently advise guests.

• Deliver attentive and personalised service, supporting guests throughout their visit and addressing any concerns promptly.

• Manage stock effectively by requisitioning, checking, and storing items correctly while minimising waste.

• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation across the bar, including all equipment and service areas.

• Maximise revenue through confident upselling and product recommendations.

• Provide accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and offerings to enhance the guest experience.

• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure seamless service and consistently high standards.

About you

We are seeking a proactive and service-driven individual with previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment, ideally within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. A confident communicator with the ability to upsell and work efficiently under pressure, you will also take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and teamwork.
