ComXo is the leading UK provider of global switchboard support services, who are looking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic individual to join the team!
As a Switchboard Operator you will have the responsibility of the following tasks:
- Greeting and navigating inbound calls from our ‘virtual switchboard environment'.
- Speak in a clear, polite, and friendly manner.
- Respond to inbound emails in accordance with requirements of the customer.
- Use a bespoke system to direct callers to the correct department or person.
- Handling enquiries and requests in line with our customers’ wishes.
- Conduct yourself with politeness, proficiency, personality, and professionalism at all times.
Requirements of the successful candidate, will have the following:
- Minimum education of A-Level or equivalent.
- Previous experience in switchboard, telephone reception, customer service, or legal sector are essential.
- South American Spanish speakers are desirable (along with additional language allowance)
- Experience of using Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Be able to multi-task (expectation to be able to deal with more than one call at a time).
- Be confident in speaking and writing English.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

This role is a full-time, 40 hour contract covering flexible hours between 11am to 11:00pm, Monday to Sunday. The salary for this role is £29,476 per annum which includes a Out of Hours allowance of £1,500.
Expected start date: 24th of August 2026
Please note before moving onto contracted hours, 3 months of training will be provided (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday), office based. Please DO NOT apply if you cannot commit to these training hours.
