Bicester Hotel, Golf and Spa are excited to be looking for our next superstar Food and Beverage

You will have experience in food and beverage, ideally in a hotel environment. Have a natural way with guests and be able to supervise our food and beverage departments, including our restaurants, events, Weddings, conferences and banquets. Reporting to our Assistant Food and Beverage Manager and Operations Manager

This will not be a 9-5 role, we run a 24/7 365 operation, Early and Late shifts will be expected.

Set in 134 Acres of stunning Oxfordshire countryside, surrounded by 11 Lakes, Bicester Hotel is an established 4-star resort. The Hotel offers 52 rooms, 2 restaurants, 3 bars, 24hr room service, 7 function rooms, a Health Club and Spa facilities, and is surrounded by an 9 Hole Golf course.

What is the role?

  • Supervising the team to ensure high quality guest experience
  • Assisting in training the team
  • Driving to improve our restaurant and bar experience at all times
  • Upselling
  • Ensuring all F&B outlets are managed
  • Providing first class service to all customers
  • Effectively respond to guest queries, issues and complaints

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience working in a busy hospitality environment
  • Previous supervisory experience desired
  • Strong communication skills
  • A positive and friendly attitude

The role

  • Proactively supervise and support the team to ensure high quality customer service is delivered throughout every guest experience
  • Provide a first class service to all guests, ensuring the presentation of all facilities within the complex are kept at the highest standards
  • Ensuring the team are fully supported with regard to products, services, process and professional behaviour and standards
  • To work closely with the F&B and management team to ensure you are aware of all functions, bookings and any special requirements on site each day.
  • To ensure that you and the team comply with all licensing, food hygiene and health and safety practices and legislation.
  • To respond to any guest queries, issues or complaints without delay and in line with Company procedures

Requirements:

* Must have Restaurant, Bar and or Wedding and events experience.

* Must have Food & Beverage experience.

  • Extensive experience of working in a busy hospitality environment
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Pro-active approach to work duties
  • Confident manner and good team player
