Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and an eye for detail, making it essential for the successful upkeep of our premises.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
  • Change bed linens, replenish towels, and restock toiletries as required.
  • Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows and mirrors to ensure a sparkling finish.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the establishment.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good condition, reporting any shortages or malfunctions.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic cooking skills would be advantageous but are not mandatory.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
