Are you reliable, hardworking, and looking to build a career in hospitality? We’re looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our friendly and fast-paced kitchen team. This is a great opportunity to learn, progress and excel within a well-established hotel group.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly, safely and hygienically. You’ll support our chefs with cleaning duties and occasional food preparation, helping to maintain high standards across the kitchen and back-of-house areas.

You’ll report directly to the Head Chef / Senior Chef.

Key Responsibilities

  • Washing and storing pots, pans, baking trays, utensils, crockery and cutlery
  • Cleaning and maintaining dishwashing areas
  • Brushing and mopping kitchen floors
  • Assisting with deliveries and storing goods in cold rooms
  • Removing rubbish and replacing bin bags
  • Replenishing disposable rolls and soap around kitchen areas
  • Carrying out deep cleaning tasks as required
  • Occasional preparation of vegetables, potatoes or desserts
