Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the premises and the Hotel rooms, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Previous experience in hospitality or janitorial services is highly desirable. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and reliability are valued.

Duties

  • Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces according to company standards
  • Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are tidy and welcoming
  • Use cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
  • Maintain cleaning schedules and record completed tasks accurately
  • Assist with laundry duties as required
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within designated timeframes
  • Assist Front of House with Breakfast duties

Skills

  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for this role
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is advantageous
