Salary: £12.71 (depending on applicant NMW age)

Contract: Casual Engagement : Monday & / or Friday (day shifts available)

Pinelodge Holidays is a family-owned business which operates two 5 star award winning lodge holiday parks in Derbyshire; Darwin Forest near Matlock and Sandybrook near Ashbourne.

The position will be located at our Darwin Forest site which has 137 luxury lodges, surrounded by idyllic woodland surroundings.

We are recruiting Housekeepers to join our team, reporting to the Housekeeping Manager. This is a casual cover role where flexibility is offered. We are seeking candidates who are able to work during our busy holiday period.

We have additional and optional hours after the 6 week holidays; Generally, the hours of work are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Monday and Friday. However, we may be able to be flexible on daily hours of work to fit around school hours or applicants needs.

It is important to ensure that high standards of cleanliness and presentation are met. You will be responsible for cleaning 5-star accommodation on a holiday park to the highest standards, ensuring families can enjoy quality time together.

The Parks operate all year round and at Pinelodge Holidays we try to “Delight every guest so they wish to return”. As a member of the Housekeeping team you will be in contact with our guests on a daily basis and must demonstrate a friendly and professional image at all times. A uniform will be provided.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Dusting of lodges
  • Vacuuming carpets and mopping of floors
  • Cleaning kitchens
  • Cleaning bathrooms
  • Deep cleaning of accommodation
  • Reporting maintenance issues

This is a busy role and you must be able to cope with the physical demands of regular cleaning duties in our holiday lodges across the Park.

The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and good communication skills as you will interact with both colleagues and guests. Full training will be provided for this role.
