Job Summary

We are seeking 2 dedicated and energetic Part-Time Medical Cleaner to join our healthcare cleaning team. In this vital role, you will ensure that medical facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This position offers flexible hours and an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in healthcare settings through meticulous cleaning practices.

Working Days and times

  • Monday - Friday 6.00pm-7.30pm

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, operating theaters, clinics, restrooms, and common areas in accordance with healthcare protocols.
  • Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to eliminate germs, bacteria, and viruses effectively.
  • Follow strict safety procedures and infection control guidelines at all times.
  • Restock supplies such as hand sanitizers, paper towels, and soap dispensers to ensure continuous availability.
  • Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
  • Adhere to all health regulations and hospital policies to ensure compliance with sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to coordinate cleaning schedules around patient care activities.

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work, preferably within healthcare or hospital environments.
  • Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and hospital sanitation standards.
  • Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure all areas are thoroughly sanitized.
  • Good communication skills for effective teamwork with medical staff and other personnel.
  • Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and stand for extended periods.
