Housekeeping Manager

Aphrodites Group | Luxury Boutique Accommodation | Lake District
Pay: £35,000.00 per year with paid overtime
Hours: 40 hours per week
Working pattern: 5 days out of 7, including some weekends and bank holidays

About the Role

Aphrodites Group, a luxury boutique collection in the heart of the Lake District, is looking for a hands-on and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team across our luxury properties.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated housekeeping professional who takes pride in high standards, strong team leadership, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will take ownership of housekeeping operations across all 3 sites, ensuring our 31 luxury suites and public areas are beautifully presented, consistently maintained, and ready to exceed guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities

As Housekeeping Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day housekeeping operations across all sites
  • Supervise, motivate, and support the housekeeping team
  • Take ownership of cleanliness, presentation, and room standards
  • Carry out regular inspections across suites and public areas
  • Plan rotas, organise staffing, and ensure efficient daily workflows
  • Train, coach, and develop team members
  • Manage stock, linen, cleaning supplies, and housekeeping equipment
  • Work closely with Reception, Maintenance, and senior management to ensure smooth operations
  • Respond professionally to guest requests, feedback, and operational issues
  • Maintain a positive, organised, and standards-driven working environment

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory, management, or leadership role
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence working across multiple nearby sites

Additional Information

This is a multi-site role, so travel between properties is required. All sites are within a 2–3 minute drive of each other.
