Position: Contracts Manager (Social Housing & Multi-Trade Works)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Hours: 40 Hours per week

Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong understanding of social housing maintenance and multi-trade works?

CHFM, a fast-growing and forward-thinking company operating across Scotland and the North east of England, is seeking a motivated and skilled Contracts Manager to oversee a range of social housing contracts. This role offers the opportunity to lead diverse projects, support a committed team, and contribute to the continued success and expansion of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee social housing contracts, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Coordinate multiple trade teams across responsive, planned, and void works.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Lead site teams, ensuring quality control, health & safety compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor budgets, performance targets, and service delivery standards.
  • Support tendering, pricing, and planning for upcoming works and projects.
  • Provide regular reporting and contract updates to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role within social housing, maintenance, or construction.
  • A good understanding of all trades and building practices is essential.
  • A trade background would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and deliver high-quality results.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Full UK driving licence.
