This Role is Based in Preston. Contracted 40 Hours a week (Monday - Friday). No Weekend Work!

Successful candidates are required to have their own vehicles and a Full vaild UK driving Licences.

About the Role

We are seeking a Supported Living Officer to join our growing team in Preston. This rewarding role is key to delivering high-quality support to vulnerable adults, helping them develop independence, improve daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.

Working within our community-focused service, you will provide person-centred support that promotes well-being, social inclusion, and positive outcomes for the people we support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, well-being, and positive outcomes for residents.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with residents, colleagues, and partner agencies.
  • Develop, implement, and review individual support plans to meet changing needs and aspirations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, company policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Support residents to access services, opportunities, and community resources.
  • Manage and resolve issues effectively using strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Contribute to team meetings, service improvements, and community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working within a supported living, housing support, or social care environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Sound understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and relevant legislation within the care sector.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Compassionate, person-centred approach with a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to the changing needs of the service and its residents.
