With a salary of up to £60,000, hybrid working, a company car or car allowance and private healthcare, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress within a major FM organisation.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary up to £60,000 per annum
  • Company car or car allowance
  • Hybrid working – home-based with regular site visits
  • 37.5-hour working week
  • 25 days annual leave
  • Private medical cover for you and your partner
  • 6% employee-matched pension contribution
  • Life assurance – 2x annual salary
  • Permanent position with long-term career opportunities
  • Opportunity to work on a high-profile Defence facilities management contract

The Role

As Performance Manager, you'll be responsible for monitoring and improving the delivery of a major Hard FM contract, ensuring contractual obligations, service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently achieved.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and analysing contract performance, KPIs and SLAs across a large facilities management operation.
  • Producing detailed performance reports, dashboards and management information for senior stakeholders.
  • Identifying performance trends, operational risks and areas requiring improvement.
  • Conducting root cause analysis into recurring performance issues and service failures.
  • Developing and implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Working closely with engineering, maintenance, compliance and operational teams to improve service delivery.
  • Managing and improving performance data within CAFM systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Supporting the development of automated reporting tools and performance dashboards.
  • Monitoring statutory compliance, contractual obligations and operational performance.
  • Coordinating monthly performance reporting, governance submissions and management reviews.
  • Supporting operational teams with KPI management, reporting requirements and performance improvement.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce recurring issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Working directly with senior management to develop and deliver performance improvement strategies.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of facilities management operations and contract performance, alongside excellent analytical and reporting skills.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Previous experience as a Performance Manager, Contract Performance Manager, FM Performance Analyst, FM Operations Manager or similar.
  • Experience working within facilities management, ideally Hard FM or building maintenance contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of KPIs, SLAs, contract performance and service delivery.
  • Experience using CAFM systems, ideally IBM Maximo.
  • Advanced Excel, data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Experience developing dashboards, performance reports and management information.
  • Strong understanding of operational compliance and contract reporting.
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive, analytical approach to identifying and resolving operational problems.

Experience working on Defence, MOD, government, healthcare or other large-scale FM contracts would be advantageous.

Essential Requirements

  • British nationality due to site security requirements.
  • Ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Previous operational management experience within facilities management.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to sites across the contract.

With direct exposure to senior leadership, excellent benefits and the opportunity to drive meaningful operational improvements, this is a position offering both stability and long-term career development.
