Full job description

An Chef de Partie supports the Head Chef and kitchen team with preparing and cooking food while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and cleanliness.

Main duties:

  • Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking meals.
  • Follow recipes and portion-control guidelines.
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organised and safe.
  • Follow food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
  • Store food correctly and check food quality.
  • Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
  • Help with stock rotation and reducing food waste.
  • Work effectively as part of a team during busy service periods.

Skills and availability:

  • Cooking and food-preparation skills.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene.
  • Reliable, organised and willing to learn.
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
  • Willing to work additional hours when required.

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
