About MD Therapy

With a strong reputation for excellence, we support clients ranging from athletes to individuals recovering from injuries in reaching said desired goals through ; Sports Therapy, Personal Training, Nutrition and Hypnotherapy/NLP.
As we expand our services, we are seeking passionate, driven and skilled Sports Massage Therapists to join our team. Experience in Personal Training and Injury Rehabilitation would be a huge bonus!
Key Responsibilities
- Provide sports and remedial massage, deep tissue massage, and joint mobilisations to alleviate muscle and joint pain.
- Conduct clinical assessments to review and assess injuries, back pain, and physical conditions.
- Utilize manual therapy techniques, tailored exercises, and stretches to improve clients' physical health.
- Work collaboratively with local rugby clubs, delivering treatments and providing pitch-side support during training and match days.
- Maintain detailed client records and develop personalised treatment plans.
- Proactively build and manage your client base, including referrals.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide aftercare advice for optimal results.
- Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress in accordance with privacy regulations and governing body requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices through continuous professional development.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential:
- Minimum Level 4 qualification in Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy or equivalent.
- Availability to work a Minimum of 24 clinic hours per week, with scope for 40+
- Driven to build long term Client relationships, delivering specific treatments & services to meet their medium/long-term goals
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to recommend appropriate treatment plans.
- Ability to work independently and confidently handle a range of client cases.
- Insurance coverage and willingness to register with professional bodies (e.g., STO, FHT).
- Customer-focused attitude with a desire to exceed client expectations.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Highly Desirable:
- Certification in Personal Training and/or Nutrition.
- Previous experience or desire in working with sports teams, particularly rugby.
Training and Support
- A comprehensive 4-week mentorship program provided by our Clinic Manager
- Expectation to work independently and manage your client list within the first 6 weeks
- Assistance from the Sales & Operations team in upselling, retaining and managing client list
- Discounted or Funded training schemes for further clinic relevant qualifications
Benefits
- Competitive pay starting at £15.75 p/hour, with potential to earn up to £25 p/hour after completion of training.
