Full job description

About the role

The College delivers evidence-based hypnotherapy training – the Hypno-CBT® approach – through live webcast and comprehensive online learning, to students in the UK and internationally.

As our Sales Development Representative, you are the first human contact for prospective students. Your job is to work our database of enquiries and leads, reach people by phone, have a warm, genuinely helpful conversation, and book qualified prospects into a discovery call with a Course Advisor. You do not close sales – you open conversations and fill the Course Advisors' calendars with people who show up.

What you'll do

  • Make outbound calls to new and existing leads generated by our marketing activities.
  • Qualify prospects with brief, respectful discovery: their interest, goals and readiness to explore training.
  • Book qualified prospects into Course Advisor discovery calls and confirm attendance.
  • Follow up by phone, email and SMS to reduce no-shows and keep booked calls warm.
  • Re-engage no-shows and cancellations: when a booked call doesn't happen, the Course Advisor returns it to you to call back and rebook.
  • Keep the CRM (Zoho) accurate and up to date: every dial, connection and booking logged.
  • Work closely with the Course Advisors and marketing team, feeding back what you hear from prospects.

Daily activity targets (minimum)

  • 100 dials per day
  • 10 connected conversations per day
  • 2 booked Course Advisor calls per day

These are minimum expectations, not stretch goals. Consistent, disciplined activity is the core of this role.

How you're rewarded

  • Bonus is paid on booked calls that show up to their Course Advisor call – not simply on bookings made. Quality of booking and confirmation matter as much as volume.

What we're looking for

  • Proven outbound calling or SDR/telesales experience, comfortable with high daily call volume.
  • A warm, easy conversational style on the phone – consultative, not pushy.
  • Resilience and self-discipline: you hit activity targets without being chased.
  • Well organised, with strong time management and accurate record-keeping.
  • Quick learner of CRM systems; Zoho CRM experience is a plus.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • A genuine interest in psychology, self-development or hypnotherapy is a strong advantage.

Working relationships

You'll work most closely with the Course Advisors, plus the marketing team, student support team and CEO.

Benefits

  • Work from home
  • Pension after 3 months or the end of the probation period (applies to permanent roles)
  • Health scheme after qualifying period of 1 year (applies to permanent roles).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £26,500.00-£35,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Work from home

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hemel Hempstead
