Full Job Description

Valentina Restaurant, located in the heart of Weybridge, is looking for an experienced, friendly, and professional Front of House Waiting Team Member to join our restaurant team.

We are a busy, family-run Mediterranean restaurant renowned for freshly prepared food, exceptional customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding hospitality and enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

The Role

As part of our Front of House team, you will:

  • Deliver attentive, friendly, and professional table service.
  • Welcome and seat customers, ensuring they receive a warm Valentina welcome.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant ordering system.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of our menus, daily specials, wines, and drinks.
  • Confidently recommend dishes, wines, desserts, and beverages to enhance the customer experience.
  • Manage your own section efficiently during busy service periods.
  • Prepare and reset tables to the highest standards.
  • Handle customer enquiries professionally and resolve issues promptly.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and management team to deliver a seamless dining experience.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Help maintain the restaurant's high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Confidence in managing their own section.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A smart, professional appearance and a positive attitude.
  • The ability to remain calm and organised under pressure.
  • Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable customer experiences.
