Overview

Join our dynamic bakery team as a Baker, where your passion for baking and food preparation will shine! In this role, you’ll be the creative force behind crafting delicious baked goods that delight our customers. From mixing dough to putting it through the oven, you’ll bring fresh, high-quality baked items to life in a fast-paced, energetic environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your bakery skills while contributing to a vibrant food service setting. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and pies with precision and care
  • Follow established recipes and food safety standards to ensure consistent quality and freshness
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and assembling baked items
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery station and kitchen area in accordance with health regulations
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal results for each product
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production during busy periods
  • Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supply needs

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food production, food preparation or kitchen work, preferably within a bakery or restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, cooking methods, and food safety protocols
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Culinary experience that demonstrates proficiency in baking processes and kitchen operations
  • Familiarity with restaurant or food service industry practices is highly desirable
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team

We have a full time four day week days off are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
