Job Overview:

DeGould is looking for an IT Support Engineer with excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues in both technical and non-technical terms to colleagues. You should be someone who is passionate about technology and wants to work in a busy, fast paced organisation. You will be responsible for all technical enquiries. Speaking with other team members, advising on issues, route cause analysis, making data led decisions, improving efficiency on an ongoing basis.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The main deliverables of the role are:

  • Manage and take ownership of support request, issues, incidents, and defects across shared company applications.
  • Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Work closely with business and engineering teams to ensure transparent communication and efficient issue resolution.
  • Contribute effectively to the establishment and maintenance of the Platform departmental knowledge, documenting clear instructions and known fixes

Required Skills:

  • Office 365 including Active Directory/Entra
  • Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Service Desk)
  • Windows, Mac and Linux experience
  • Basic knowledge of computer networking

Desirable Skills:

  • VPN, VLANs, LACP and firewall management
  • Unifi network hardware
