Microsoft 365 Engineer (Security and Identity) (Remote / London)

£45,000 – £50,000 + benefits · Full-time, permanent

The role

We are looking for an M365 Security Engineer to look after the Microsoft 365 tenants of all our clients. You will split your time between planned projects and keeping clients secure day to day, collaborating directly with clients and our wider team.

What you will do

  • Set up and secure Microsoft 365 tenants for new and existing clients
  • Design, test and roll out Conditional Access and Intune policies
  • Investigate suspicious sign-ins, compromised mailboxes and email threats
  • Automate repetitive work with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph
  • Deliver migrations and projects, working directly with clients
  • Technical escalation point for the service desk
  • Own Huntress, CIPP, Intune, Defender and backup platform producing the monthly health report

What you will need

  • 2+ years' multi-tenant MSP experience
  • Entra ID administration, including app registrations, API permissions, admin consent and single sign-on
  • Conditional Access and Intune policy design, testing and rollout
  • Exchange Online security, including sign-in log review, inbox rule analysis and message trace
  • PowerShell and Microsoft Graph scripting
  • Clear, professional communication with senior and non-technical clients

Nice to have

  • Mac management through an Apple MDM platform, ideally Addigy, including Apple Business Manager and automated device enrolment
  • Azure resource administration, such as Key Vault, virtual machines, certificates, subscriptions and role-based access
  • SharePoint and Microsoft 365 migration experience
  • Microsoft certifications SC-300 or MS-102
  • Experience with Huntress, CIPP or HaloPSA
  • Exposure to regulated financial services clients

What we offer

  • £45,000 – £50,000 salary, depending on experience
  • Remote working, with occasional visits to our London office and to clients in London
