At Oakford Technology, we believe great technology helps schools achieve exceptional outcomes. With over 60 talented colleagues supporting schools and businesses across the South of England, we deliver managed IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, infrastructure projects and day-to-day support that help our customers thrive.

We are seeking a friendly, proactive and technically capable Secondary School IT Technician to join our team at a large secondary school in Trowbridge.

This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a busy school community, providing hands-on technical support to staff and students while working closely with the school's dedicated Network Manager, who will provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and technical escalation support.

  • Manage incidents and service requests through Oakford's service desk systems
  • Monitor systems and respond to alerts generated by monitoring platforms
  • Escalate issues appropriately to the Network Manager or central technical teams

  • Support IT projects and technology improvements across the school
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, organised and self-motivated approach
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively
