Everything we do aims to positively impact the lives of our social housing tenants and deliver on what matters to them and their communities. We provide safe, well-maintained, sustainable homes and deliver customer-focused services. ForHousing is a place where everyone can thrive and be themselves.

As part of our ICT Team, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and delivering IT training across a range of systems, ensuring colleagues at all levels can effectively use the technology they need to do their jobs.

This role is not limited to Microsoft 365—you’ll be responsible for training on any IT system used within the business, including the Housing Management System, finance systems, and emerging technologies. You’ll quickly learn any new systems and translate technical information into accessible, engaging learning materials.

Why ForHousing?

  • Hybrid working – some of your time can be spent working at home, or you’re free to spend more time in the office if you prefer.
  • Agile working – we are outcome driven, so we empower you to do your best work, in the way that works best for you.
  • STAR – through our partnership with STAR you can save money on everyday spending and make your money go further with discounts across a wide range of shops and products.
  • Smartech – purchase technology or white goods and spread the cost.
  • Wellbeing centre – gym discounts, exercise videos, mindfulness tools, nutrition advice, financial advice and more.
  • Cycle to work scheme – save up to 40% on bikes and equipment.
  • Employee Assistance Programme – access to a 24/7 counselling and support helpline.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing and delivering tailored IT training across multiple platforms, ensuring all colleagues can effectively use the systems in place.
  • Creating a range of training materials, including videos, e-learning modules, knowledge base articles, and interactive workshops, to suit different learning styles.
  • Delivering IT inductions for new starters and supporting ongoing digital skills development.
  • Identifying and responding to training needs, working closely with colleagues across ForHousing, including IT Service Delivery, Digital, Cyber Security, and Learning & Organisational Development (L&OD) teams.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure training meets the needs of different teams and is relevant to their roles.
  • Measuring the impact of training using feedback and analytics, continuously refining training approaches based on data-driven insights.
  • Supporting change management initiatives by ensuring colleagues are confident in using new and updated technologies.
  • Delivering training in a hybrid format, with a mix of in-person and online learning.

What we’re looking for:

There are no specific qualifications essential for this role, but we are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in developing and delivering IT training across different systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for all learning levels.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, able to prioritise and tailor training to business needs.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and an ability to learn and train others on new systems.
  • Experience in creating digital training content (e.g. videos, knowledge base articles, e-learning).

ForHousing is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. We especially welcome applicants from the Armed Forces community.
