About Gilson Gray

Our IT team is part of Gilson Gray’s continuingly growing organisation. Gilson Gray LLP is a comprehensive law firm, offering expert legal, property, and financial services. We support clients throughout their entire lifetime.

Based in Lincoln, London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee, North Berwick and Forfar we focus on ensuring we provide the highest level of advice and on-going service to our clients. We are ambitious and have significantly grown the team over the course of the last year. We pride ourselves in looking after our clients personally and providing the upmost standard of service.

This role will be based in our Lincoln office.

Our Team

We are looking to hire a highly driven IT Support Analyst to join our successful IT Department in Lincoln. The successful candidate will report to the IT Systems Manager and will work as part of the local Lincoln IT team, supporting users across the business.

The Role

We are looking to further strengthen our current team with the appointment of an experienced candidate.

As an IT Support Analyst at Gilson Gray you will:

  • Deliver exceptional 1st Line support to our staff by communicating with them clearly and accurately
  • Setup Computer hardware and install software required by the business
  • Escalate support incidents to 3rd party service providers
  • Achieve agreed customer service levels
  • Provide technical support and fault diagnosis
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and suppliers
  • Provide effective support for IT project delivery

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Polished verbal communicator with an exceptional telephone manner and articulate delivery
  • Reliable and hardworking
  • Organised and self-motivated
  • Knowledge of basic networking
  • Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365 end user skills
  • Confidence to diagnose and fix user issues

Our ideal candidate would also have

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines
  • MCP certification would be beneficial but is not essential
